In Part 1 of the Interview, Tanya shared her investment origin story and how she discovered that property is a wealth-building vehicle. She also recounts the challenges she faced along the way. This aligns with our CEO and Founder, Jacques Fouché, who strongly believes in providing educational tools for our investors.

Jacques holds weekly webinars along with the IGrow team that dive into relevant topics in the property market. Jacques has also written a handy eBook that divulges the secret to creating a property portfolio empire! We also have many more insightful blog posts you can find on IGrow’s Blog.

Celebrating Women’s Month with the help of bricks and mortar

Tanya Haffern’s Bricks for Chicks is an important reminder that women can achieve lasting financial independence. As Tanya shares her knowledge, she opens windows of opportunity for South African women who want to start investing in property, and now they know where to begin: right where they are.

It’s all about taking that first bold step:

“When you find a property that works, just do it. Sure, there might be a better deal on the table tomorrow, but waiting for the perfect deal will see weeks turn into months and months into years. The best way to learn is through action. Books and courses can only teach you so much. Actually going out there, buying an investment property and running it as a rental will teach you priceless lessons.”- Tanya Haffern (“Bricks for Chicks: Property Investment for Women Who Kick Ass!” Page: 140)
